Manny Pacquiao Wins Undisputed Title As Congressman

Manny Pacquiao won a seat as congressman in the Philippines House of Representatives. Manny Pacquiao delivered a knockout punch with about double the number of votes for his rival in a seat in the southern province of Sarangani. This is Manny's second run for public office since year 2007 which he lost with a wide margin against his opponent. Boxing fans around the world still hope to see a Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather, Jr. fight. According to Manny's promoter and founder of Top Rank Boxing promotion, Bob Arum, he could convince Manny to fight Mayweather. If it happens, Mr. Arum said to believe that the fight will happen as early as November this year according to the news portal of broadcaster ABS-CBN. Plans for a Pacquiao-Mayweather fight didn't materialize earlier in the year when the Mayweathers and his camp insisted on Olympic-style drug testing, which the Filipino rejected as too invasive before a bout.
